About Invisalign®

Invisalign is a discreet orthodontic treatment that uses clear, removable aligners to gradually shift teeth into their desired positions. They are virtually invisible, comfortable to wear, and can be easily removed for eating and oral hygiene. With predictable results, Invisalign offers a convenient alternative to traditional braces for achieving a straighter smile.

How Does Invisalign® Work?

At Admire Dental, we utilize cutting-edge 3-D imaging technology to create a personalized treatment plan that not only allows you to visualize the end results but also tailors the process specifically for you. This customized plan is then sent to Invisalign to craft a set of virtually invisible aligners, worn over your teeth, which you switch approximately every two weeks. With regular appointments, our dedicated staff ensures your treatment progresses smoothly, sparing you from the discomfort of traditional braces and allowing for hassle-free eating as the aligners can be easily removed.

Invisalign® vs. Traditional Braces

  • Appearance: Invisalign aligners are invisible, while traditional braces are noticeable with metal brackets and wires.
  • Removability: Invisalign aligners can be easily taken out for better oral hygiene and unrestricted eating. Traditional braces are fixed and cannot be removed.
  • Comfort: Invisalign aligners are made of smooth plastic, providing a more comfortable experience than metal brackets and wires of traditional braces.
  • Dietary Restrictions: Invisalign aligners have no food restrictions as they can be removed, while traditional braces may require avoiding certain foods that can damage them.
  • Treatment Duration: Invisalign treatment may be faster than traditional braces in some cases, but the duration varies depending on the individual. Traditional braces usually require a longer treatment period.

Introducing the Invisalign® Difference: A Revolution in Orthodontic Treatment

Initial Consultation

Schedule a consultation with our experienced Invisalign® provider to assess your dental condition and discuss your smile goals. We will determine if Invisalign® is the right treatment for you.

Customized Treatment Plan

Using state-of-the-art technology like 3D scans or the iTero Element scanner, we create a digital representation of your teeth. This helps us design a personalized treatment plan tailored to your unique needs and showcases the projected movements of your teeth throughout the process.

Custom Aligner Fabrication

Based on your treatment plan, a series of custom-made aligners will be created exclusively for you. These aligners, made from comfortable and nearly invisible SmartTrack® material, will gradually shift your teeth into the desired position.

Wear and Change Aligners

You will receive a set of aligners to wear for approximately 1-2 weeks each. Simply wear them for 20-22 hours a day, removing them only for eating, drinking, brushing, and flossing. Every few weeks, you will switch to a new set of aligners as your teeth progress towards their final alignment.

Progress Checkups

Visit our office every 6-8 weeks for progress checkups and to receive your new sets of aligners. These visits allow us to monitor your teeth movement and ensure your treatment is on track, making any necessary adjustments along the way.

Completion of Treatment

Once you have gone through the entire series of aligners, your treatment will be complete. We may recommend the use of retainers to maintain the new position of your teeth and ensure long-lasting results.

Retention Phase

During the retention phase, it’s important to wear your retainers as directed by our orthodontist. Retainers help prevent your teeth from shifting back to their original positions, ensuring the success of your treatment.
